Our family, native to Minnesota, is serving in the southern part of Texas, just north of the Mexican border. We are missionaries at Rio Grande Bible Ministries, which is a Bible College for Spanish speaking students who come from all over Central and South America to receive a college degree in Biblical studies to become pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders.  Another large ministry here is the Spanish Language School, which teaches primarily U.S. Missionaries that are going to the field, Spanish.

Travis works in the computer and phones department.  When he isn’t fixing a technology related problem he’s usually trying to figure out how to fix the problem.  There is always more to learn in the computer field so between projects he is taking computer classes on line.

We have 5 kids (+1 in Heaven) that range from infant to young adult. The oldest, Kay, lives with us and also serves here on campus.  She has graduated from homeschool and is in the process of writing a Christian Fantasy novel series.  We have a baby boy and are currently homeschooling the other 3 boys, ranging from High School age down to Pre-K.
